A Little About Me
Hi! My name is Tiffany McHugh. I live in San Diego, CA with my husband and 3 daughters ages 11, 6 and 4. Education has always been a love of mine. It fascinates me to explore the way different children learn and process new input. Straight out of high school I began attending San Diego State University and couldn’t get enough of all the different opportunities offered to explore the way children develop and learn. It took me 8 years but I eventually ended up with degrees in Education, Child Development and Children’s Theatre. Those different fields have partnered well in helping me to create a fun and exciting way to present children with the opportunity to learn in a way that sparks their curiosity. I have worked in Public and Private Education for 20 years with students ranging in age from preschool - high school. I currently partner with parents who love teaching their children from home and would like support in specific subjects.
Here’s What I Offer
My services range depending on your family’s specific needs. While some parents would like a specific subject off their plate, others might find it helpful to have someone come beside them and help teach specific concepts that are harder for their student to grasp. One family might need someone to help them organize their curriculum and plan out their school year while another needs their student evaluated to see if they’re on track for their age level. Whatever your family’s need might be, my goal is to partner with your family to have a successful homeschooling year.

There are so many curriculum options for families out there and it can very quickly become overwhelming. I’m here to help. Whether it is helping you choose a curriculum that best suits your learners needs, or designing a completely unique curriculum just for them, I can make it happen.

1:1 Teaching

One-on-One tutoring services last 1-2 hours per day.

$50/per hour

Does your student need individualized focused attention working on specific subjects or concepts? One-on-One is for you! Sessions generally last 1-2 hours max per day and can be done up to 3 times per week.
Family Teaching

Family style educational services last 1-3 hours per day.

$50/per child

One concept taught to multiple children of the same family in a group setting. The same lesson can be adapted for different educational levels within the same lesson.
Co-Op Teaching

Co-Op Educational services can be scheduled for 1-3 hour sessions depending on the lesson being taught and up to twice per month.

$250 for the whole group

This is the perfect option for multiple families that would like to gather their children to learn all together. This option is great for socialization and learning to collaborate within a group setting. Works best with a group of 6-8 children.
